Your computer must be connected to the Internet if you want to use several Player features and options. If your computer is not connected to the Internet when you try to use one of these features or options, you are prompted to connect to the Internet. If you do not connect to the Internet, the Player displays a page in the feature indicating that the computer is not connected to the Internet. For example, if you are not connected to the Internet when you click Media Guide, the Player displays a page informing you that the computer must be connected to the Internet.

You can choose to work offline at any time. However, if you have connected to the Internet while using the Player, some media information may be stored on your computer and may still be available.
